California State Railroad Museum

Next to the historic town of Old Sacramento is the California State Railroad Museum. Featuring 21 restored trains, the museum is a must-see for groups with young children. During my visit, a group of students that came all the way from Japan were marveling at what is the original framework for the modern day bullet train that travels about at 300km/h.
