8 Photos of Adorable Squirrels

Squirrels are rodents, related to mice and gerbils. Rodents have two upper and two lower teeth that keep growing, and they have to gnaw so they won’t grow too big. They cut wood with them, or use them to bite through the hard skin of fruit, and they also use them for defense.

Squirrels come in different species, like tree squirrels, flying squirrels and ground squirrels, chipmunks, prairie dogs and marmots.

They are very cute and can often be hand fed in parks and gardens. Let's see these photos!
