The Native Americans named the Badlands in South Dakota the bad lands because it was barren. For photography, however, Badlands National Park is an excellent location. The landscapes and rock formations are simply amazing. On a clear night, it’s great to try out some astrophotography. And if you are lucky, you may capture some wildlife.
